Qualities

T- 101 (M-2) tool bits are non-cobalt bearing tungston-modybdenum grade for use on tough, but soft materials like copper, aluminum, brass, wood, bokelite plastic, etc.

T- 102 (M-35) tool bits are made from M-35 5% Cobalt bearing High Speed Steel. This time tested tungsten molybdenum material has excellent toughness and wear-resistance. It is an economical grade for general shop purposes. It is best suited for applications involving interrupted cuts and roughing operation where strength is a pre-requisite as on shaper and planers.

T- 103 (M-42) tool bits have a high degree of hot hardness and wear-resistance. Made from 8% Cobalt bearing M-42 High Speed Steel, these offer top efficiency on difficult-to-machine alloys and high strength steels.

T- 104 (T-42) tool bits have exceptional wear resistance property. Made of 10% Cobalt bearing T-42 High Speed Steel, these also have a high hot hardness, edge holding ability and ample toughness for all types of cutting tool applications, particularly at high temperatures and high speeds. They are especially adopted for roughing or finishing operations where maximum tool life is required; for large-batch automatic lathe work and all types of lathe and boring operations.

Trident Tool Bits can also be supplied in 8.5% or 10.5%, that is equivalent to grades ASP-30 & ASP-60.
